Description

  • Identify and engage school districts through targeted outreach, networking, conferences, and referrals.
  • Build relationships with district leaders, understand their priorities, and guide them from initial interest to commitment.
  • Develop and deliver the customer journey from lead generation through onboarding in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Initiate district data privacy agreement processes and provide smooth handoffs to Customer Success.
  • Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data in Salesforce and track progress against acquisition and growth goals.
  • Represent the Foundation at conferences, district meetings, and other external events.
  • Support broader onboarding and renewal activities as the role develops.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer growth, partnerships, business development, customer success, or a similar role; K–12 education or edtech experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of US school systems and district decision-making processes.
  • Track record of working toward measurable growth, acquisition, partnership, or customer success goals.
  • Strong organization and proactive management of multiple customers and workstreams.
  • Clear, confident communication with educators, school leaders, and district decision-makers.
  • Ability to use data and feedback to understand customer needs and improve conversion.
  • Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce.
  • Alignment with the Foundation’s mission, educational equity, and access.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA.
  • Successful completion of required background checks.

  • Salary of $72,000–$78,000 annually, dependent on experience.
