Description

  • Align with clients on key project milestones and build, maintain, and manage project plans.
  • Identify and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and priorities.
  • Coordinate multiple work streams and engage the right resources across client and RainFocus teams.
  • Communicate project status through formal weekly updates and stakeholder meetings, including executive-level committees.
  • Co-facilitate workshops to define configuration requirements and capture action plans.
  • Support change management for first-year event clients and ensure training is provided for adoption of new processes and technology.
  • Manage project controls, including expectations, artifacts, financial performance, and change orders.
  • Surface decisions, escalations, and resource constraints to remove obstacles and keep timelines on track.
  • Participate in pre-sales planning as part of client account teams.
  • Coordinate post-event reviews between the client and the RainFocus account team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of project management experience, including software implementation, schedule, cost, and risk management.
  • Ability to use project management tools to coordinate and manage complex projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and follow-up skills.
  • Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Smartsheet.
  • Highly self-motivated, autonomous, and detail-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through.
  • Strong technology acumen and experience researching solutions to improve event experience and operations.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment or client-facing role.
  • Experience designing large-scale, complex solutions without losing sight of the details.
  • Must be able to work 12:00 - 9:00 p.m. PST.
  • Event industry experience is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive client discussions.
  • Ability to organize ambiguous ideas into concrete deliverables and prioritize competing deadlines.
