Description

  • Own the end-to-end vulnerability management program, including scanning, remediation tracking, and validation of findings.
  • Replicate and validate vulnerabilities using tools such as Burp Suite and Kali Linux.
  • Manage and triage the bug bounty program and monitor external security posture ratings.
  • Partner with engineering teams on architecture reviews, threat modeling, and secure coding practices.
  • Conduct system impact analyses and represent security on the Change Control Board.
  • Triage and document security incidents in OneTrust and Jira.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to ensure security tools are deployed across AWS and endpoint environments.
  • Maintain oversight of endpoint detection, MDM, and email security tools to support compliance and alerting.
  • Administer security awareness training modules and lead internal security culture initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • 3–5 years of dedicated experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
  • Strong familiarity with the OWASP Top 10, web application security testing, and software composition analysis.
  • Experience running enterprise vulnerability scanners, interpreting results, and driving remediation across teams.
  • Foundational knowledge of AWS and securing cloud-native applications.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with software development teams.
  • Direct experience with Burp Suite, Kali Linux, BugCrowd, and Sonarqube is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Tenable, Bitsight, OneTrust, Jira, Sophos, JAMF, PDQ, or BetterCloud is preferred.
  • CompTIA Security+, CEH, GIAC, or progress toward CISSP is preferred.
  • Basic scripting ability in Python, PowerShell, or Bash is preferred.
  • Experience supporting PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 compliance is preferred.
  • Experience using AI to improve productivity and reviewing AI tools, integrations, and features is preferred.
