Description

  • Design the target data architecture, including data models and documentation requirements.
  • Build data flow maps from source systems to reporting to ensure full data lineage transparency.
  • Perform data profiling and analyze source systems to assess data suitability and quality.
  • Develop clear conclusions and recommendations to support the end use of data.
  • Use metadata repositories to perform data and system integration impact analysis.
  • Define and support data exchange principles, including ETL/ELT, Kafka, and REST API, with a focus on data integrity.
  • Participate in implementing Data Quality Management controls, including rules, monitoring, and control processes.
  • Help implement Data Governance controls across business processes and systems.
  • Identify data-related risks and develop, monitor, and track mitigation plans.
  • Define and implement KPIs and OKRs for the Data Governance program and communicate results to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in banking or finance.
  • Expertise in data modeling techniques.
  • Strategic thinking with a strong architectural mindset.
  • Deep understanding of Data Governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK and DCAM.
  • Expertise in Data Quality, Master Data, Metadata, and Data Security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex data management issues.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements such as BCBS 239 and GDPR.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies in a data environment.
