Description

  • Lead initiatives that enhance application security throughout development processes.
  • Architect, evaluate, and integrate security tools across the technology stack.
  • Conduct internal penetration testing, code reviews, and source-code security analysis.
  • Lead and mature the vulnerability management program, including AI-enabled automation.
  • Create and maintain threat models for software projects.
  • Advise developers on secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and process improvement.
  • Draft security program updates and communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Develop security training materials and provide guidance to software development teams.
  • Lead incident response activities.
  • Coordinate penetration testing, mitigation planning, and efforts to reduce security technical debt.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of scripting and development experience, preferably supporting web applications.
  • 2–3 years of cloud engineering experience, preferably with Infrastructure as Code and AWS.
  • Familiarity with Claude AI, other AI tools, and agentic AI automation.
  • Knowledge of security practices and standards including OWASP, OWASP ASVS, S-SDLC, and BSIMM.
  • Experience with NIST and HIPAA is preferred.
  • Demonstrated judgment in assessing and prioritizing technical risk.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of security tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex security issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and remove process and technology bottlenecks for teammates.
  • Inclusive, collaborative approach to working with engineering, operations, product, and leadership teams.
