Description

  • Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with automated security gates.
  • Capture and monitor product risk exposure systematically and automatically.
  • Implement software supply chain controls including signed artifacts, SBOMs, and SLSA/Sigstore provenance attestations.
  • Identify emerging customer security needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Lead security architecture reviews and threat modeling for Kubernetes workloads on GCP and AWS.
  • Harden container images, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud IAM configurations.
  • Define and drive adoption of security standards covering pod security, network policies, workload identity, and secrets management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software, security, or combined engineering experience with substantial hands-on security responsibility.
  • Production-quality coding experience in Go or Python.
  • Deep production Kubernetes experience, including cluster hardening, RBAC, network policies, and admission controllers.
  • Practical GCP and/or AWS security experience, including IAM, workload identity, secrets management, and services such as Security Command Center or Security Hub.
  • Experience designing and securing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Tekton, or similar tools.
  • Container security expertise, including image scanning, minimal base images, and runtime security.
  • Experience with Sigstore, SLSA, SBOM generation, or comparable software supply chain security tooling.
  • Working knowledge of OWASP, NIST, and cloud security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Chainguard Images, policy-as-code tools such as OPA, Kyverno, or Conftest, open source security projects, or offensive security practices is preferred.
