Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex software issues and contribute to product and business decisions.
  • Work in Agile ceremonies and help improve team processes.
  • Own the full software development lifecycle, from definition and development through testing, production, and maintenance.
  • Protect delivery quality by promoting good engineering practices and participating in code reviews and design reviews.
  • Handle incidents, troubleshoot and debug software issues, and write postmortems with preventive actions.
  • Implement and maintain scalable, reliable software architecture and design patterns.
  • Continuously improve how software is built and how new challenges are addressed.
  • Mentor software engineers by providing technical guidance and support.
  • Participate in code reviews and help ensure high code quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of database design and evolution.
  • Experience designing and evolving software architecture from the ground up.
  • Experience creating RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with software monitoring, observability, and performance tracking tools and practices.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including version control, testing, deployment automation, code reviews, and design documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English.
  • Experience mentoring software engineers (preferred).
  • Experience developing scalable client-server mobile applications (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred).
  • Understanding of modern CI/CD practices (preferred).
  • Knowledge of containers and container orchestration such as Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Ability to test and tune scalability (preferred).
  • Knowledge of computer theory, including algorithm optimization and distributed systems (preferred).
