Description

  • Own sourcing strategy and vendor relationships for Europe-based bags and accessories categories across first-party and third-party vendors.
  • Lead vendor onboarding, quality reviews, and commercial negotiations to improve PCOGS and margins.
  • Drive operational rigor across the regional supply base by improving lead times, on-time delivery, and production SLAs.
  • Identify and onboard new vendor partners with scalable capacity, consistent quality, and competitive cost structure.
  • Visit vendor partners regularly to build long-term relationships, troubleshoot issues, and conduct quality reviews.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, and Operations to ensure smooth product launches and replenishment.
  • Ensure ethical sourcing and compliance standards are upheld across all partners.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or supplier management experience with major US-based retailers.
  • Deep factory partner connections within the Europe region across the category.
  • Experience leveraging factories and vendor expertise to design, cost engineer, and bring products to market.
  • Strong knowledge of key materials localized in the region.
  • Supply chain background with manufacturing experience, including lean and just-in-time methods.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical with a focus on execution, problem-solving, process improvement, and brand enhancement.
  • Continuous learner who is curious, proactive, and adaptable when facing change and new challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
