Description

  • Lead the design of new experiences and products that improve how QuillBot users communicate effectively.
  • Guide projects from ideation through execution to create cohesive, intuitive user experiences.
  • Ensure designs are polished, nuanced, and visually strong at the UI level.
  • Partner with UX research to inform design decisions and advocate for users throughout the design process.
  • Design experiences with measurable impact that improve activation, deepen engagement, and expand product usage.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, writers, and brand partners on cross-functional design solutions.
  • Experiment with new ideas to push the boundaries of writing tools and improve the writing process.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers to support team learning and growth.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to PMs, engineers, and stakeholders on roadmap and product direction.

Requirements

  • Professional training and a degree in UX or Product Design.
  • 8+ years of product design experience, including at least 4 years as a lead designer.
  • A passion for writing.
  • Strong prototyping skills.
  • Experience designing for web/desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Thoughtful and effective collaboration skills.
  • Strong interest in the intersection of technology and creativity.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Eligible for hire in India.
