Description

  • Lead end-to-end design strategy for high-impact growth initiatives from opportunity identification through polished delivery.
  • Set the vision for how growth principles shape QuillBot’s next-generation creative experience.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional experimentation by defining hypotheses, testable designs, success metrics, and learnings.
  • Drive cross-product cohesion so growth surfaces and rapid experiments integrate consistently across the product suite.
  • Evolve and extend the design system to support experimentation at scale while preserving long-term system integrity.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to understand user behavior, friction points, and opportunities for growth.
  • Lead critiques, mentor designers, codify best practices, and establish rituals that improve quality, speed, and impact.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products with ownership of growth, experimentation, or funnel optimization.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, exceptional craft, experimentation leadership, and metric-moving design decisions.
  • Deep expertise in scaling and extending design systems.
  • Strong interaction and visual design skills with the ability to influence user decisions and drive growth outcomes.
  • Advanced prototyping skills for validating ideas and accelerating experimentation cycles.
  • Strong written communication and narrative skills to explain problem spaces, hypotheses, insights, and design rationales.
  • Experience shaping or designing AI-powered tools and intuitive, trustworthy AI experiences.
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Proven growth mindset with experience designing, interpreting, and iterating on experiments for activation, retention, and conversion.
  • Bonus: experience using AI in the design process, front-end engineering skills, or leadership in building growth pipelines or experimentation frameworks.
