Description

  • Own the application marketing strategy for Quantum-Si's protein sequencing portfolio, including target segments, workflows, and use cases.
  • Build and maintain voice-of-customer insight on customer needs, workflow pain points, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate customer insight and workflow requirements into prioritized inputs for R&D and partner on roadmap tradeoff decisions.
  • Develop differentiated positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for products and applications.
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new applications, workflows, and capabilities across marketing, sales, scientific affairs, and field applications.
  • Create commercial content and sales enablement materials such as presentations, web copy, battlecards, case studies, white papers, and objection-handling tools.
  • Engage with customers, key opinion leaders, early adopters, and partners through meetings, conferences, advisory boards, and field interactions.
  • Serve as a cross-functional coordinator across R&D, application development, sales, operations, and marketing.
  • Support sales and field teams with training and materials to communicate value consistently.
  • Contribute to identifying new growth opportunities and refining application strategy based on customer and ecosystem feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, business, or a related field required; MBA, MS, or PhD preferred.
  • 8+ years of product marketing, product management, strategic marketing, or related experience in life sciences, proteomics, genomics, sequencing, or molecular biology markets.
  • Direct experience in proteomics applications preferred; experience in protein sequencing or adjacent sequencing applications strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success translating customer insights, workflow needs, and market dynamics into product requirements, application strategy, and commercial action.
  • Experience marketing complex technical products, ideally including instruments, consumables, software, and integrated workflow solutions.
  • Strong understanding of proteomics, sequencing, and molecular biology workflows, customer segments, and application use cases.
  • Proven ability to develop positioning, messaging, and commercial content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions and commercialization in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize market, competitive, and business performance data into recommendations.
  • Ability to own long-term strategy while driving execution and meeting dynamic timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and build credibility across functions and levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations and sales enablement or training.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional weekends and international travel.
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments, with a self-starter mindset preferred.
  • Experience with hardware or software product development, customer-facing commercial roles, or close partnership with R&D teams to shape application roadmaps preferred.

  • Estimated base salary range of $175,000 to $195,000 per year for U.S.-based candidates.
