Description

  • Lead technical discovery and integration planning with vendor teams, evaluating APIs, data formats, and transport methods.
  • Design, document, and maintain integration specifications, including data mappings, interface definitions, transformation logic, and delivery protocols.
  • Support deployment and maintenance of ETL pipelines using tools such as SSIS and Apache Airflow.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for integration, monitoring, and reconciliation.
  • Own vendor integration issue resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term stability planning.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for data transfers, latency, schema mismatches, and production incidents.
  • Build relationships with vendors and serve as the liaison between vendor technical teams, business stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Partner with Legal, Security, and Compliance to ensure integrations meet HIPAA, authentication, privacy, and governance requirements.
  • Participate in vendor performance reviews and identify automation, architecture, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relational database experience, preferably with SQL Server.
  • 3–4+ years of ETL experience, preferably with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • 1–2 years of experience with data warehouse concepts.
  • Experience developing ETL pipelines and data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, relational database concepts, APIs, and SSO.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP; cloud integration experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • 3+ years of experience working with external partners and translating technical details for executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Data modeling experience and experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, or another regulated industry preferred; legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. required.
