Description

  • Design and build the AI bot control plane, including bot scheduling, lifecycle management, deployment pipelines, autoscaling, resource allocation, and health monitoring.
  • Lead the evolution of core cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities to support software deployment, operations, and scale.
  • Architect and implement a full-stack observability platform using OpenTelemetry and the Grafana ecosystem.
  • Define SLOs/SLAs, build dashboards, and establish incident management workflows for operational visibility and reliability.
  • Implement and mature security practices including SOC 2 readiness, incident response, DLP, IAM, secrets management, and security monitoring.
  • Partner with the Intelligence team to build and operate MLOps infrastructure, including model serving, training pipelines, versioning, lineage tracking, and experiment management.
  • Build and maintain data infrastructure for high-volume bot event streams, including data lake and data warehouse architecture on Databricks.
  • Improve CI/CD and developer experience using automation and modern deployment tooling.
  • Help define and build AI-powered developer tools and autonomous agents for issue detection, diagnosis, and remediation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product peers to ensure infrastructure is performant, scalable, cost-effective, and secure.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, platform, or SRE roles in a modern cloud environment.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS, Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with ECS or EKS preferred.
  • Experience with observability platforms and the Grafana ecosystem, including Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, and Grafana, or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry is a strong plus.
  • Experience improving CI/CD systems using GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
  • Understanding of IAM, secrets management, and compliance frameworks; SOC 2 experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MLOps concepts such as model serving, training pipelines, LLM infrastructure, or experiment tracking.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document, share, and teach effectively.
  • A thoughtful, collaborative problem-solver who is excited to shape foundational systems.
  • Exposure to data infrastructure concepts such as event streaming, data lakes, data warehouses, or Databricks is nice to have.
  • Experience building autonomous AI developer agents, AI-powered DevEx tooling, or self-healing infrastructure systems is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $130,000 to $170,000 CAD, depending on experience, performance, and stock option selection.
