Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 21 and Spring Boot.
  • Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs for internal and external systems.
  • Implement and maintain event-driven service architectures using Apache Kafka.
  • Design and optimize SQL databases, queries, and data persistence.
  • Build and maintain automated integration tests using TestContainers.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, stability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver reliable software.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance in containerized environments.

Requirements

  • Experience developing scalable backend applications with Java 21 and Spring Boot.
  • Experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with SQL database design, query optimization, and data persistence.
  • Experience creating automated integration tests with TestContainers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize backend application performance, stability, and scalability.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional software delivery teams and participating in code reviews.
  • Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment (preferred).
  • Experience in banking or financial services, including banking system integrations (preferred).
  • Understanding of transaction processing, data consistency, secure financial-system communication, Docker, and cloud-native development (preferred).
