Description

  • Serve as the strategic lead across paid media and paid search for a pod of 5–8 clients.
  • Tie media strategies to client business models and growth goals such as LTV, CAC, and CPL targets.
  • Identify performance improvements through platform features, best practices, and competitor analysis.
  • Develop test plans for campaign launches, audience expansion, and cross-channel integrations.
  • Own department-level initiatives that improve performance, onboarding, naming conventions, and internal playbooks.
  • Lead strategic direction, forecasting, and reporting for high-spend, complex, or performance-sensitive accounts.
  • Monitor churn risk and develop mitigation strategies, including opportunities for new platform or budget expansion.
  • Manage two strategists through 1:1s, reviews, training plans, and ongoing coaching.
  • Review bandwidth and team sentiment to prevent burnout and redistribute work as needed.
  • Partner with the Head of Media on workflow improvements, KPIs, and departmental goals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on paid media management experience, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Experience across channels such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, Programmatic, and CTV.
  • Experience working in both ecommerce and lead generation verticals.
  • Finance experience is a nice-to-have.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking with experience identifying opportunities and building effective plans.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and simplify complex concepts.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics or Shopify.
  • A clean, quiet remote workspace suitable for video conferencing and virtual collaboration.
