Description

  • Lead, develop, and scale distributed Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, and Component Engineering teams across the United States, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
  • Serve as the primary Operations Engineering interface in Hsinchu, Taiwan for all NPI programs.
  • Partner with R&D, Product Engineering, Program Management, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to support product introduction and ramp.
  • Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) initiatives to identify and mitigate risks early.
  • Own end-to-end supplier quality management, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead supplier audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and yield improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee manufacturing quality performance across APAC DFM sites.
  • Implement scalable quality systems, processes, and performance metrics such as FPY and DPPM.
  • Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, manufacturers, suppliers, and global leadership.
  • Define and execute the APAC Operations Engineering strategy in alignment with global objectives while driving Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven improvements.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Operations Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supplier Quality within the electronics, hardware, or data center industry.
  • Proven track record of managing regional or global engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated success in NPI execution and manufacturing ramp within APAC.
  • Strong domain expertise in Supplier Quality and Supplier Development.
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT).
  • Experience with manufacturing processes such as PCBA and system integration.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturing models including EMS, JDM, and ODM.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams across multiple regions and cultures.
  • Strong executive presence with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Taiwan-based engineering and manufacturing ecosystems is highly preferred.
