Description

  • Understand customer business drivers, decision processes, and technical requirements.
  • Map Everpure and ecosystem solutions to measurable customer outcomes.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to drive revenue and new business.
  • Lead technical sales strategy, evaluations, benchmarks, configurations, and validation testing.
  • Create and deliver product, architecture, and technical presentations to customers.
  • Translate business needs into scalable storage, infrastructure, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Author and lead responses to RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes.
  • Develop technical materials, roadmap exchanges, and alliance planning with product and technical marketing teams.
  • Track competitors and market trends to maintain differentiated solution positioning.
  • Provide technical leadership across storage products, distributed architectures, file systems, and DAS, NAS, and SAN environments.

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications; enterprise technology sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience selling or supporting enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures.
  • Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into customers.
  • Knowledge of RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS, and distributed network environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native, on-premises, public cloud, provisioning automation, and container technologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, microservices, VMware, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking is preferred.
  • Experience installing and configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, storage, cache, shared-memory, and virtual-memory architectures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; familiarity with SQL, Oracle, and storage-intensive applications is desirable.
  • Curiosity, empathy, creativity, continuous-learning mindset, and passion for explaining technology to customers.
