Description

  • Operationalize daily activities using DevOps practices and manage the machine fleet.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure configuration management and deployment solutions.
  • Automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operations workflows.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs and develop robust solutions to improve system performance.
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews and comprehensive testing.
  • Advance the Desired State Management framework for large-scale fleet synchronization and performance.
  • Create tools for image-based OS deployment, secure authentication, and large-scale orchestration.
  • Stay current on platform engineering, container orchestration, and deployment mechanisms.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with OpenStack or similar systems for VM management.
  • Proficiency in Go, which is used for 98% of the codebase.
  • Experience with system automation and configuration management tools.
  • Familiarity with containerization, orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, and fleet management.
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Knowledge of Rust or other systems programming languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with open-source technologies.
  • Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems.
