Description

Lead a team responsible for the systems that power repayment, payments, delinquency management, and collections.
Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact initiatives that improve repayment rates, reduce delinquency, and increase operational efficiency.
Partner with Product, Risk, Operations, and Compliance to build scalable, reliable, and compliant servicing and collections systems.
Evolve the servicing platform with senior engineers by simplifying the architecture and scaling toward modular, reliable, and observable systems.
Ensure mission-critical system reliability with attention to uptime, data integrity, and incident readiness.
Use AI to accelerate engineering and product velocity while exercising strong judgment in regulated environments.
Mentor engineers, raise the technical bar, and unblock teams when needed.
Support the development of smarter collections capabilities and high-quality self-service customer experiences.

Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading teams.
Strong full-stack foundation with the ability to dive into code, debug, and guide architectural decisions.
Experience building or operating high-stakes systems such as payments, servicing, or billing, with a focus on reliability and data integrity.
Proven ability to scale systems and teams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Clear communication skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Passion for mentoring and developing engineers.
Experience in fintech or other regulated industries is preferred.
Familiarity with servicing and collections metrics such as delinquency, recovery, and cost to collect is preferred.
Experience building internal tools or platforms for operations teams is preferred.
Hands-on experience applying AI to improve workflows or operational efficiency is preferred.
Role is based in the US.

Salary range of $244,300 to $293,160 USD.
