Description

  • Lead all clinical study operations, including planning, organization, and direction of study projects.
  • Oversee clinical project timelines, reports, budgets, monitoring, site and vendor management, clinical supplies, and data collection.
  • Serve as the primary contact for sponsors, study teams, and other functional groups.
  • Facilitate timely communication across the sponsor, study team, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage, motivate, and mentor study team members and support their professional development.
  • Provide financial oversight of study budgets, including out-of-scope tracking, with the Client Manager and Finance team.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute project plans throughout the study lifecycle, including monitoring, communication, project management, and eTMF plans.
  • Ensure studies are conducted in compliance with GCP, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and project-specific plans.
  • Assess resourcing and training needs, and implement appropriate training plans for the study team.
  • Track study risks, escalate issues as needed, and adjust timelines based on project progress and sponsor input.
  • Oversee outside vendors and ensure coordination between vendors, the team, and the sponsor.

Requirements

  • RN or a bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in biological sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, training, and previous CRA experience.
  • Prior experience successfully managing multifaceted studies from inception through implementation and completion.
  • Experience managing projects in a virtual environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proven effectiveness as a team leader.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and encourage independent problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience with MS Project and OneNote is a plus.
