Description

  • Coordinate testing efforts, resource schedules, and project timelines across multiple labs and locations.
  • Act as the liaison between Welocalize, the client, project managers, recruiters, and onsite teams.
  • Maintain tracking systems for attendance, schedules, performance, workload, and language-group coverage.
  • Evaluate candidates, coordinate tryouts, and manage onsite onboarding for new testers and reviewers.
  • Provide technical and linguistic training, coaching, performance guidance, and ongoing support.
  • Gather and report team feedback, client concerns, workflow issues, staffing needs, and policy changes.
  • Maintain training materials, operating guidelines, team communications, and meeting schedules.
  • Escalate HR, employment, safety, and operational issues to the appropriate Welocalize teams.
  • Promote team cohesion and ensure employees understand management structures and support contacts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in QA, localization, or globalization.
  • People management experience and demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; bilingual capability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in language, linguistics, HR, management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience delivering individual and group training, including technical training.
  • Strong communication, conflict management, mediation, and presentation skills for groups of 10–100 people.
  • High integrity, discretion, accountability, strategic thinking, and sound judgment.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail when managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems in fast-paced environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of OS X, iOS, iWork, iCloud, iTunes, Windows, and Microsoft Office.
