Description

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure across major public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Administer and support Linux and/or Windows server environments, including patching, performance tuning, and system hardening.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and operating system issues to maintain high availability and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with application, DevOps, QA, development, and product teams to support deployments and cloud integration.
  • Implement and maintain automation for provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks.
  • Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and system resiliency efforts.
  • Support security and compliance initiatives, including access controls, patching, and vulnerability management.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in infrastructure migrations and modernization efforts across cloud platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or cloud engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux distributions such as Red Hat, SUSE, or Ubuntu, and/or Windows Server administration.
  • Solid understanding of public cloud concepts across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM.
  • Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with cloud networking fundamentals, security, and identity management concepts.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • Experience supporting high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience working across multiple cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Exposure to workload migrations and modernization initiatives.
  • Relevant cloud or systems certifications from a major provider.
