Description

Research, compile, and evaluate information used to develop and maintain large, complex systems and processes.
Design systems and support processes that meet customer requirements and integrate with existing systems.
Construct, modify, and test large, complex system changes.
Diagnose, resolve, and implement solutions for production issues and other complex software problems in a timely manner.
Provide production support, including prompt incident response and nighttime support when required.
Document programming changes, enhancements, and technical solutions thoroughly and completely.
Communicate with customers and internal partners to understand business needs, anticipate issues, and provide quality support.
Perform project management duties for the technical aspects of large, complex projects as needed.
Manage individual project tasks to ensure delivery according to project plans.
Provide leadership, feedback, and knowledge sharing to peers, support teams, and management.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Extensive experience with COBOL, VSAM, Oracle, Unix, XML, Java, and Web Services development preferred.
Knowledge of LIDP’s The Administrator (ADMI) and/or Titanium systems preferred.
AI experience in a development environment preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
Familiarity with annuity and VUL products preferred, including accounting, claims, and finance experience.
Strong technical analysis, design, programming, and testing skills.
Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, accountable, and able to work independently.

Targeted salary range of $85,000 to $125,000 per year.
