Description

  • Own and scale the core data platform used for reporting, attribution, product analytics, reconciliation, and company-wide decision-making.
  • Design and maintain BigQuery warehouse architecture and dbt models.
  • Build, manage, and monitor Airbyte pipelines and related data tracking infrastructure.
  • Use orchestration tools such as Airflow to run recurring workflows and improve pipeline reliability.
  • Model revenue, commission, funnel, partner performance, and executive reporting datasets as trusted sources of truth.
  • Implement governance, permissions, monitoring, alerting, documentation, and table discoverability improvements.
  • Automate recurring reports and reconciliations to reduce manual work for Finance, Analytics, and Partner teams.
  • Integrate data from QuickBooks, CRM, support, social, and operational systems.
  • Support AI workflows and internal assistants with structured, reliable data.
  • Partner with Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders on integration architecture and data needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
  • Strong SQL and warehouse modeling skills, with dbt and BigQuery preferred.
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, including Airbyte, orchestration, and monitoring.
  • Comfort with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar.
  • Strong focus on data governance, quality, and documentation.
  • Excellent written async communication skills in a remote-first environment.
  • AI-assisted coding fluency with tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Copilot is a plus.
  • Prior experience in fintech, prop trading, or SaaS is preferred.
  • Experience integrating QuickBooks, CRM, or other operational systems is preferred.
  • Cross-functional partnership experience with Product, Marketing, or Finance is preferred.
