Description

  • Build and ship automations for core business workflows across operations, growth, content, customer support, and risk.
  • Translate business needs into modular, reusable workflow components and production-ready systems.
  • Own internal and external API integrations end-to-end, including authentication, pagination, rate limits, and fallback handling.
  • Implement retries, structured error handling, alerting, and idempotency for critical workflows.
  • Set up logging, dashboards, alerts, and monitoring to improve observability across automations.
  • Document workflows, variables, failure modes, integration points, and run books for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and refine automation ideas into clear specifications.
  • Support deployed workflows in production and iterate based on feedback and measurable impact.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building production-grade automations in n8n or similar tools such as Make, Zapier, Tray.io, Airflow, or Prefect.
  • Hands-on experience building reliable API integrations with requirements such as pagination, authentication refresh, rate limits, and error fallback.
  • Strong software engineering experience with Python or TypeScript, ideally both.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, debugging, and testing.
  • Experience implementing logs, alerts, dashboards, or monitoring systems.
  • Demonstrated ownership taking projects from vague idea to specification, implementation, and production support.
  • Ability to write clear, async-friendly documentation and communicate effectively in writing.
  • Systems-thinking mindset with a pragmatic approach focused on ROI and avoiding unnecessary complexity.
  • Comfort pushing back when requirements are unclear or suboptimal.
  • Familiarity with the prop trading industry and Prop Firm Match’s mission is valued, even if not formally required.
