Description

  • Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting systems and maintain clean, traceable records.
  • Classify expenses, revenues, and transfers correctly across accounting ledgers.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank, expense, vendor, and other accounts.
  • Review supporting documents against recorded transactions to identify discrepancies and missing information.
  • Support month-end and period-end closing activities and related reporting cycles.
  • Maintain proper documentation and organized records to support compliance and audit readiness.
  • Assist with audit preparation by gathering requested documentation and supporting information.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve unclear or incomplete financial data.
  • Help improve accounting workflows, consistency, and process compliance.
  • Provide reliable day-to-day bookkeeping and operational support during peak periods.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support roles.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or international environment, preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or similar accounting software.
  • Solid understanding of reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger management.
  • Experience supporting month-end closing processes and basic financial reporting.
  • High attention to detail and strong accuracy in data entry and financial record handling.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage structured workflows and deadlines.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies and flag issues independently.
  • Fully fluent written and spoken English.
  • Comfort working in a remote environment with asynchronous communication and ownership-based workflows.
