Description

  • Lead the design, build, and configuration of Epic Research.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and DTP teams to ensure the Epic system meets the needs of the research community.
  • Assist with incident queue management in ServiceNow, from issue intake through build changes, change management, and resolution.
  • Create and maintain system build documentation, decision logs, and end-user tipsheets.
  • Create and maintain test scripts for unit, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Execute testing and manage timely resolution of defects, issues, and optimization requests.
  • Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support project delivery and issue resolution.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to drive strategic process improvement and solve complex problems.

Requirements

  • Epic Research certification is required.
  • Multiple Epic certifications are preferred, especially Epic Research, Epic Ambulatory, Epic Beacon, Epic Professional Billing, Epic Hospital Billing, and Epic MyChart.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience as an Epic Analyst, Builder, Technical Specialist, or Consultant in a hospital or integrated healthcare environment.
  • Experience with Epic reporting tools such as Clarity, Caboodle, and SlicerDicer is preferred.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical or operational workflows in Research Community and related applications is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.
