Description

  • Lead technical execution of Cogito data model migrations to cloud-hosted environments such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Validate data integrity, report parity, and performance between legacy and cloud environments.
  • Implement and optimize Epic workflows and data capture within the Cogito data model.
  • Design, build, and troubleshoot reports and dashboards using Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, and RW SQL.
  • Optimize SQL and reporting workflows for cloud performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Translate business requirements into system configuration and cloud data architecture decisions.
  • Create build documentation, data flow diagrams, migration runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Track and resolve migration risks and issues, including data loss, downtime, and report cutover concerns.
  • Lead project meetings, coordinate work across BI, infrastructure, and customer teams, and report on milestones.
  • Mentor customer teams and support successful project handoff and adoption.

Requirements

  • Active Cogito Data Model and Cogito Tools certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, and RW SQL.
  • Experience migrating Epic Cogito, Caboodle, or Clarity environments to the cloud; Azure experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a BI developer.
  • Strong SQL development and performance-tuning skills in cloud data warehouse environments.
  • Experience with Epic implementation and optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud cost management, security and compliance for PHI, and environment provisioning preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects remotely and manage multiple workstreams.
  • Strong organization, communication, adaptability, problem-solving, and escalation skills.
  • Passion for mentoring and guiding customer teams.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
