Description

  • Design physical objects suitable for 3D printing using open-source CAD software.
  • Complete engineering design tasks while workflow actions, tool usage, clicks, and design decisions are captured for AI model training.
  • Write and execute Python validation scripts to support the design workflow.
  • Complete study tasks at varying complexity levels, from simple to complex projects.
  • Participate in a paid vetting survey and screening call before potential study invitations.
  • Contribute engineering problem-solving examples that help train next-generation AI models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Strong proficiency with open-source CAD software such as FreeCAD, KiCad, or similar tools.
  • Python development experience with the ability to write and execute scripts independently (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Experience writing validation scripts rather than only using pre-built tools (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Comfortable working from the command line (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Comfortable using Linux and/or Windows environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Reliable internet connection and access to a computer.
  • Availability to complete a paid vetting survey and screening call before project participation.
  • Invitation to individual projects is not guaranteed and depends on client demand and profile fit.
