Description

  • Steward and evolve the services data schema and taxonomy as the platform expands.
  • Own and improve the curation pipeline for sourcing, screening, and tagging services.
  • Direct a small team of data specialists and set quality standards.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and service partners on data and user-facing decisions.
  • Advise on and improve internal tooling for admin, ingestion, deduplication, and QA workflows.
  • Document a clear, repeatable playbook and SOPs for the process.
  • Evaluate tradeoffs in what data to collect, how to source it, and how to keep it current.
  • Help improve platform offerings through better data and operations.

Requirements

  • Working understanding of healthcare services data, ideally mental health services data.
  • Strong judgment in data schema and data modeling.
  • Fluency in Postgres and SQL.
  • Ability to reason from data consumers backward to data structure and presentation.
  • Experience running data operations with a human-in-the-loop or annotation component.
  • Experience directing distributed specialists to a quality bar.
  • Experience owning KPIs for data accuracy and freshness.
  • Quality-systems and taxonomy thinking, with the ability to write SOPs.
  • Comfort working across product, engineering, and external partners.
  • Comfort moving fast with limited scaffolding.
  • Experience with AI- or LLM-assisted curation workflows (preferred).
  • Experience with HL7, FHIR, or other health-data interoperability standards (preferred).
  • Experience building or maintaining a services dataset or provider directory (preferred).

Benefits

  • Hourly rate of $75 to $100 depending on experience and other relevant factors.
  • Six-month term with defined scope and deliverables.
  • Extension or conversion may be possible, though not guaranteed.
  • Approximately 32 hours per week preferred.
  • Fully remote within the United States.
  • Short paid work sample included in the hiring process.
