Description

  • Work closely with business development and sales teams to identify and advance product opportunities.
  • Liaise with customers and prospects to qualify leads and build solution constructs.
  • Assess customer needs and conduct pre-demo discovery and analysis.
  • Lead techno-functional discussions during pre-sales interactions and capture requirements clearly.
  • Own the end-to-end pre-sales cycle, including scoping, product fitment, solutioning, and proposal creation.
  • Draft solution scope documents and communicate them to delivery and product teams for estimation and execution.
  • Create product demo scripts and scenarios and coordinate product demos and workshops.
  • Manage the complete RFI and RFP bidding process.
  • Develop statements of work and other contractual documents as needed.
  • Perform additional pre-sales tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Fluency in French and English is required.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and a consultative mindset.
  • Outstanding leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
  • Creative problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and influence others effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to represent the company professionally.
  • Good knowledge of global real-time, rails, retail payments, and the payments landscape.
  • Working understanding of real-time payments globally, including PSD2, Open Banking, Payment Hub, SWIFT, and SEPA.
  • Knowledge of the African payments landscape, especially Francophone Africa, is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience preparing PowerPoint presentations, documents, and analysis reports.
  • Ability to prepare SWOT analyses and position products against competitors across geographies.
  • Must stay current on market developments in the payments domain and relevant geographies.
