Description

  • Build trusted relationships with customers and learn how they work and what they want to achieve.
  • Plan and guide new customers through implementation, onboarding, and training.
  • Support existing customers by answering questions, highlighting new features, and running Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Contribute to customer support resources such as in-product guides, webinars, and the Help Center.
  • Collaborate with other departments to bring customer feedback into the product roadmap and strategy.
  • Identify expansion and referral opportunities and act on them creatively.
  • Track key customer success metrics, including churn, time to first value, and net promoter score.
  • Experiment with new strategies, tools, and AI to help customers work smarter.
  • Keep customer delight top of mind in day-to-day work.

Requirements

  • Direct experience working with customers or clients.
  • Background in a startup, entrepreneurial, or build-it-yourself environment.
  • Ability to work independently and stay focused on outcomes rather than tasks.
  • Strategic and creative thinking with an ability to spot and pursue opportunities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and genuine interest in helping customers succeed.
  • Experience experimenting with AI and automation tools.
  • Curiosity about technology and willingness to tinker and learn new tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a 100% distributed team where writing is the primary communication method.
  • Ability to work US business hours, primarily Pacific Time, while supporting customers across PT, MT, and CT.
  • Open to candidates based outside of the United States.
  • Early-career candidates are welcome; prior CSM experience is not required.
