Description

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and calibrate biomedical equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, disassembly, and replacement of equipment components.
  • Diagnose equipment problems and determine appropriate service solutions.
  • Update field service records to track customer configurations, parts inventory, warranty returns, and service trends.
  • Record potential complaints, relay customer feedback, and report recurring issues or trends.
  • Maintain and improve service documentation, procedures, processes, and knowledgebase content.
  • Monitor customer critical success factors and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, QA, Sales, Clinical, and Marketing teams in the field and in-house.
  • Train PROCEPT personnel and distributors on correct equipment operation and servicing.
  • Provide remote technical support to customers and internal field personnel.
  • Comply with federal, state, local, and company quality/regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Must reside in or within 1 hour of the New Jersey International Airport area.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Associate’s degree required.
  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or a regulated FDA environment is preferred.
  • Previous startup experience is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze operations and perform quality control analysis.
  • Strong complex problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend complex instructions, procedures, correspondence, and training materials.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, hospital staff, and cross-functional teams in stressful situations.
  • Exceptional drive and dedication to deliver strong customer outcomes.
  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident for work authorization.
