Description

  • Administer and maintain client network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
  • Manage on-premises and cloud server environments using Windows Server and virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments, including user management and group policies.
  • Implement and maintain firewall and VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access and data protection.
  • Monitor, configure, and manage security controls such as intrusion detection/prevention, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
  • Perform vulnerability scans, patch management, and security assessments to support compliance with security best practices.
  • Work with clients to develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for system, network, and application issues.
  • Use remote management tools and ticketing systems to diagnose, track, document, and resolve support requests.
  • Proactively monitor system and network performance and report on uptime, performance, and security incidents.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience as a System and Network Administrator.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Proven experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and data center technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure.
  • Experience with firewall technologies and VPN solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, and Fortinet.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Experience using remote access tools, monitoring platforms, and ticketing systems such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, and ServiceNow.
  • Certification in relevant areas such as Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware is required or strongly preferred, such as MCSA, CCNA, or VCP.
