Description

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with accurate and timely analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasts, scenario analysis, and business initiatives.
  • Analyze actual results versus plan, forecast, and prior periods and explain key drivers.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Work with large, complex data sets from multiple systems and sources.
  • Build and maintain advanced Excel models, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and structured analyses.
  • Use SQL to query data directly from source systems or learn to do so quickly.
  • Prepare board-ready commentary and supporting materials for senior leadership.
  • Partner with Operations, Sales, Marketing, HR, and other teams to understand business drivers.
  • Act as a finance thought partner by challenging assumptions and supporting decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and large data analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-facing materials.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience using SQL or other data-querying tools is preferred.
  • Exposure to BI or visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership, executive reporting, or Board materials is preferred.
  • Background in growth-oriented or operationally complex organizations is preferred.
