Description

  • Communicate with internal teams, project managers, onboarding leads, and client contacts to keep transitions aligned and on track.
  • Participate in handoff meetings to ensure service desk readiness and continuity of support.
  • Collaborate with new IT providers during client offboarding and transition activities.
  • Use diagnostic and discovery tools to assess client environments and document infrastructure, security posture, and workflows.
  • Update and maintain standardized onboarding and operational documentation, including workstation build and onboarding/offboarding checklists.
  • Identify service gaps between legacy managed service plans and target standardized offerings.
  • Deploy and configure managed services tools such as EDR, SOC/SIEM, web and DNS protection, monitoring tools, backup agents, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, Mimecast, RMM platforms, and ConnectWise PSA.
  • Manage service and project tickets with timely updates and follow-through.
  • Coordinate with vendors on behalf of customers to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure deployed tools and process changes do not disrupt client productivity or operational integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment.
  • Hands-on experience with email security and threat protection tools.
  • Hands-on experience with MFA tools and MDM solutions.
  • Hands-on experience deploying SIEM/SOC sensors and antivirus/EDR tools.
  • Experience with RMM platforms such as Kaseya VSA and Datto RMM.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement Microsoft Defender email security.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, Azure AD/Entra ID, DNS, and Group Policy.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, servers, wireless, and firewall technologies.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, or Azure.
  • Preferred experience with Dark Web Monitoring tools such as ID Agent, Cisco Umbrella, DUO MFA, SentinelOne EDR, and client migration or service plan transition work.
