Description

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable backend services using .NET Core and C#.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs, including pagination, versioning, authentication, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure backend code quality through automated testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit.
  • Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Architect and implement responsive frontends with React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and MobX.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
  • Contribute to long-term technical strategy and architectural decisions across systems.
  • Design end-to-end solutions while balancing trade-offs, scalability, performance, and resilience.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and help raise engineering standards.
  • Lead code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant fullstack development.
  • Expert-level experience with .NET Core and C#, including API development and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and MobX or a similar state management approach.
  • Deep understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including data modeling.
  • Strong testing discipline across backend systems.
  • Experience deploying to cloud platforms and working with containers.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as metrics, logging, and tracing.
  • Proven track record of mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards.
  • Experience with domain-driven design (DDD), clean architecture, or microservices is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL or advanced REST patterns is a bonus.
  • Experience with nonrelational databases such as Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or DynamoDB is a bonus.
  • Hands-on experience with serverless functions, API gateways, CI/CD pipelines, and event-driven messaging such as Service Bus or Event Hubs is a bonus.
  • Experience building distributed systems using NServiceBus or MassTransit is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and change, with initiative, ownership, and accountability.
