Description

Serve as the day-to-day client contact for assigned accounts alongside senior account leadership.
Develop a strong understanding of client business goals, challenges, and strategic priorities.
Translate client vision into actionable plans and high-quality deliverables.
Contribute to annual strategic and tactical plans, brand plans, and project-level planning.
Support account financial management through scoping, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring efficiency.
Track budgets, scope, and resource needs, and flag out-of-scope requests or account risks to leadership.
Partner with program management to develop project briefs and support kickoff meetings.
Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to align on strategy, timelines, and client expectations.
Review deliverables for accuracy and readiness before client delivery.
Participate in and sometimes lead client meetings, status calls, planning calls, and discussions with healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical communications, agency account management, strategic account support, or a related client-facing role, or an advanced doctoral-level degree such as PhD, MD, or PharmD.
Experience working directly with pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients.
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and contribute to strategic discussions.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience supporting or managing budgets, forecasts, or account financials preferred.
Exposure to product strategy, publication planning, or integrated medical communications preferred.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior team members preferred.
