Description

  • Serve as the day-to-day client contact for assigned accounts alongside senior account leadership.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client business goals, challenges, and strategic priorities.
  • Translate client vision into actionable plans and high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to annual strategic and tactical plans, brand plans, and project-level planning.
  • Support account financial management through scoping, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring efficiency.
  • Track budgets, scope, and resource needs, and flag out-of-scope requests or account risks to leadership.
  • Partner with program management to develop project briefs and support kickoff meetings.
  • Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to align on strategy, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Review deliverables for accuracy and readiness before client delivery.
  • Participate in and sometimes lead client meetings, status calls, planning calls, and discussions with healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical communications, agency account management, strategic account support, or a related client-facing role, or an advanced doctoral-level degree such as PhD, MD, or PharmD.
  • Experience working directly with pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and contribute to strategic discussions.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting or managing budgets, forecasts, or account financials preferred.
  • Exposure to product strategy, publication planning, or integrated medical communications preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior team members preferred.
