Description

  • Lead new and existing CRO laboratory projects from conception through close-out.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, revenue goals, forecasting, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate assay development, clinical testing, biorepository/sample management, logistics, and kitting for client studies.
  • Serve as the cross-functional lead for assigned projects and support internal cross-functional execution.
  • Maintain daily coordination and supervision of scheduled project activities and delegate responsibilities as needed.
  • Communicate with clients, collaborators, vendors, and internal teams on data management, inventory control, shipping, and project updates.
  • Prepare, present, and distribute project information, reports, and correspondence for internal and external meetings.
  • Track contract scope, identify out-of-scope work, and escalate issues and action plans appropriately.
  • Assess and mitigate technical, project, and business risks while ensuring compliance with standards and client expectations.
  • Review, update, and maintain project documentation and process documents, and mentor junior Project Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field, such as engineering.
  • Experience as a Project Manager for Central Laboratories in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Office or MS 365 applications.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills, with exceptional emotional intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of project management and data analysis.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional research and reporting skills.
  • Exceptional use of judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English fluently.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays, approximately 10-25%.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet business demands.
