Description

  • Lead new and existing central laboratory projects from conception through close-out.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, revenue goals, forecasting, and resource plans against contracted scope.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project execution, including scheduling, task delegation, and status tracking.
  • Serve as the cross-functional lead and primary client partner for assigned studies.
  • Coordinate implementation of new and ongoing studies with internal teams, clients, collaborators, and vendors.
  • Communicate project updates related to data management, inventory control, shipping procedures, and other operational topics.
  • Prepare and present project information, reports, and correspondence for internal and external meetings.
  • Monitor project performance, identify out-of-scope work, and escalate issues and action plans as needed.
  • Assess and mitigate technical, project, and business risks while ensuring compliance with standards and client expectations.
  • Review, update, and maintain project documentation and process documents; mentor junior Project Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field, such as engineering.
  • Experience as a Project Manager in Central Laboratories for a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with experience using MS Office and MS 365 applications.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills, with exceptional emotional intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of project management and data analysis.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, research, and reporting skills.
  • Exceptional judgment and discretion.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays, approximately 10-25%.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when business demands require it.
