Description

  • Serve as the primary client point of contact after proposal acceptance and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Manage existing client relationships and identify opportunities for organic account growth.
  • Develop client agendas, slide presentations, project briefs, and scopes of work.
  • Lead or support client calls with internal teams, faculty, and content experts to guide content and direction.
  • Oversee project management activities to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on project plans, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and budget tools.
  • Act as an internal team leader and ensure smooth coordination across cross-functional project teams.
  • Mentor and support junior account staff, and manage direct reports as applicable.
  • Conduct performance reviews, development plans, and goal setting for direct reports when applicable.
  • Develop proposals, budgets, reconciliations, and periodic budget status updates for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an account role within a pharmaceutical or medical communications company.
  • Daily client-facing experience is required.
  • Experience with medical, legal, and regulatory review is required.
  • Ability to work Central Time hours.
  • Knowledge of or ability to adhere to PhRMA, FDA, OIG, and ACCME guidelines.
  • Experience managing proposals, budgets, and reconciliations is preferred.
  • Experience mentoring junior account staff or supervising team members is preferred.

Benefits

  • $90,000 to $123,000 USD base salary range.
