Description

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and track agreements including site contracts, master services agreements, consulting agreements, vendor agreements, confidentiality agreements, clinical study agreements, and amendments.
  • Work with the Clinical Operations study team to align contract deliverables with study timelines.
  • Resolve or escalate contractual issues with supervisors and internal or external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
  • Communicate contract negotiation and execution status to relevant study team members.
  • Establish, track, report, and manage site contract metrics.
  • Maintain contract files and databases, including contract archiving.
  • Assist in designing and implementing policies and procedures to support timely contract execution.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and take corrective action.

Requirements

  • Graduate, postgraduate, or 4-year college degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating site Clinical Trial Agreements, vendor contracts, and site budget negotiations.
  • Experience in a CRO or healthcare environment.
  • Experience leading interactions with study teams and sponsors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, scientific fields, business administration, or an equivalent field preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software programs and computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
  • Experience handling sensitive issues with discretion.
  • Knowledge of setting up contracting plans and guides for CTA and budget negotiations preferred.
  • Successful experience working with CRAs, Start-up Associates, or (S)BSCAs to meet study timelines preferred.
