Description

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and track site clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, vendor contracts, consulting agreements, master services agreements, and amendments.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations, study teams, sponsors, supervisors, and external stakeholders to resolve or escalate contractual issues.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
  • Provide study teams with updates on contract negotiation and execution status.
  • Establish, track, report, and manage site contract metrics.
  • Maintain contract files, databases, and archives.
  • Support the design and implementation of processes and policies that enable timely contract execution.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and take corrective action.
  • Handle sensitive contractual matters with discretion.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating site Clinical Trial Agreements, vendor contracts, and site budgets.
  • Experience in a CRO or healthcare environment.
  • Graduate, postgraduate, or four-year college degree.
  • Experience leading interactions with study teams and sponsors.
  • Preferred degree in law, a scientific field, business administration, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Knowledge of contracting plans and guides for CTA and budget negotiations.
  • Experience coordinating with study teams, CRAs, Start-up Associates, or (S)BSCAs to meet study timelines.
  • Strong organizational, written communication, multitasking, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications; able to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employer sponsorship.
