Description

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and track site contracts, clinical study agreements, amendments, vendor agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other legal contracts.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, Clinical Operations study teams, sponsors, and external stakeholders to resolve or escalate contractual issues.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
  • Provide study teams with updates on contract negotiation and execution status.
  • Establish, track, report, and manage site contract metrics.
  • Maintain contract files and databases, including contract archiving.
  • Help design and implement processes and procedures that support timely contract execution.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Graduate, postgraduate, or four-year college degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements, vendor contracts, and site budgets.
  • Experience in a CRO or healthcare environment.
  • Experience leading interactions with study teams and sponsors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, a scientific field, business administration, or an equivalent discipline preferred.
  • Knowledge of contracting plans and guides for CTA and budget negotiations preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with study teams, CRAs, Start-up Associates, or (S)BSCAs to meet study timelines preferred.
  • Strong organizational, written communication, multitasking, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment while handling sensitive matters discreetly.
