Description

  • Serve as the primary client point of contact and escalation point.
  • Coordinate all functional services and external vendors to the established timeline and budget.
  • Manage study budgets, scope control, out-of-scope identification, and completion of change orders.
  • Partner with clinical operations and, for limited-scope projects, assume all clinical activities as needed.
  • Oversee project financial health, including profitability, billable hours, billing accuracy, and forecasting.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain quality management activities, including eTMF inspection readiness and corrective/preventative action plans.
  • Establish tracking metrics to monitor trial and team progress toward project goals.
  • Prepare project status updates for clients and senior management, including KPI reporting and issue resolution recommendations.
  • Lead internal and client meetings, set team expectations, and communicate protocol or study issues and deviations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies for the role.
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex and global trials.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant Precision SOPs, with ability to apply them.
  • In-depth experience in pharmaceutical and/or device research required; oncology and cell and/or gene therapy experience preferred.
