Description

  • Lead and support project teams to ensure strong performance and accountability.
  • Execute project work plans in coordination with the Group Manager.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while tracking performance and progress.
  • Support cost estimating efforts, including unit pricing for additional work.
  • Review financial reports and provide clear project updates.
  • Coordinate with survey teams, subconsultants, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee day-to-day project operations and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Prepare and review project correspondence, reports, and deliverables.
  • Lead project meetings and drive follow-ups with internal teams and clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with public agency clients.
  • Support contract development, negotiations, invoicing, and contract compliance.
  • Lead project closeout activities and contribute to staff development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience managing or owning project assignments across multiple states.
  • Experience supporting projects from preliminary engineering through construction.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering or railroad infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Experience working with local and state agencies or public sector clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Candidates must be located in California due to travel requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and a drug screening.
