Description

  • Perform engineering and project management duties on land development projects from conception to completion.
  • Evaluate, design, and support construction plans for small to large-sized projects.
  • Prepare project documents and maintain knowledge of project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Perform process design calculations, analyze reports, and prepare cost estimates to assess project feasibility.
  • Coordinate project design aspects using standard engineering techniques, methods, and procedures.
  • Communicate project development and progress with project managers and clients.
  • Enter and maintain project information and client records in the firm’s project management system.
  • Evaluate and propose adaptations to standard methods and procedures for assignment components.
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to less experienced staff when needed.
  • Travel to project sites for observation and work in varying terrain and weather conditions during construction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related civil engineering experience.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer (PE).
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D software.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Experience working collaboratively with others and taking ownership of work.
  • Interest in positively affecting communities through engineering work.
