Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation point for clients.
  • Coordinate all functional services and external vendors to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Manage study budgets and identify out-of-scope work early for appropriate handling.
  • Collaborate with clinical operations and participate in clinical activities as needed.
  • Oversee project financial health, including profitability, billable hours, billing, and forecasting.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure quality management activities, including eTMF inspection readiness and corrective/preventive action plans.
  • Maintain collaboration across functional operations and review study documentation as needed.
  • Establish tracking metrics to monitor trial and team progress toward project goals.
  • Prepare status updates and present progress, KPIs, solutions, and opportunities to clients and senior management.
  • Lead internal and client meetings and set expectations for the project team.
  • Communicate protocol or study issues, deviations, and corrective actions to clients and management.
  • Deliver formal presentations to a range of audiences, including bid defenses.
  • Support business development and marketing activities, including travel to bid defense meetings when required.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews for functional team members.
  • Remain compliant with organizational training, time reporting, and administrative requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical research experience or demonstrated equivalent competencies.
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex, global trials.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service-oriented demeanor.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant Precision SOPs.
  • Experience in a global, cross-functional project management environment.
  • Understanding of project planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Strategic planning, risk management, and change management experience.
  • Ability to lead and inspire study teams.
  • Ability to create accountability and drive ownership within teams.
  • Strong time management, negotiation, critical thinking, decision-making, analytical, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of project management software.
  • In-depth experience in pharmaceutical and/or device research.
  • Preferred experience in oncology and/or cell and gene therapy.

Benefits

  • Salary range of CAD 163,800 to 245,800 per year.
