Description

  • Own programming activities for assigned clinical database projects from study start through post-database lock.
  • Ensure on-time delivery, track project status, and communicate updates to internal teams and study stakeholders.
  • Review contract scope, forecast hours and resource needs, and manage budgets including out-of-scope work and post-production changes.
  • Provide input on clinical database design to clients and internal teams.
  • Build, support, develop, test, and validate clinical databases, programs, and related applications.
  • Provide system administration and advanced technical support for internally developed and third-party applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and clinical database issues.
  • Develop and maintain study-specific validation documents.
  • Support data management activities from CRF design through database close and archival.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, train end users and junior staff, support onboarding, and help maintain SOPs and process documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Strong experience in oncology; autoimmune disease experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong experience with Rave and Veeva.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, C++, or VBS.
  • Understanding of CDISC standards, including CDASH, SDTM, and ADaM.
  • Proficiency in more than one CDMS system, including building forms, edit checks, and complex rule development.
  • Experience in clinical database management system development.
  • Experience in a clinical, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Professional written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively; preferred.
  • Experience across multiple therapeutic areas; preferred.
  • Experience using various database programming systems; preferred.
