Description

  • Manage all programming activities for assigned clinical database projects from study start through post-database lock.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and communicate project status updates to internal teams and study stakeholders.
  • Forecast project hours, identify resource needs, and manage budgets, including out-of-scope work and post-production changes.
  • Provide input and guidance on clinical database design to clients and internal teams.
  • Build, support, develop, test, and validate clinical databases, programs, and related applications.
  • Provide system administration and advanced technical support for internal and third-party applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and clinical database issues.
  • Develop and maintain study-specific validation documents.
  • Support data management activities from CRF design through database close and archival.
  • Lead operational study teams and programming team members, and train end users, junior staff, and project team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Strong experience in oncology; experience with autoimmune diseases is a strong advantage.
  • Strong experience with Rave and Veeva.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, C++, or VBS.
  • Understanding of CDISC standards, including CDASH, SDTM, and ADaM.
  • Proficiency in more than one CDMS system, including building forms, edit checks, and complex rule development.
  • Experience in clinical database management system development.
  • Experience in a clinical, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and create plans to meet project revenue and business goals.
  • Preferred: experience across multiple therapeutic areas and with various database programming systems.
  • Preferred: ability to work with minimal direction in a self-motivated, self-directed manner.
